HARDOX

HARDOX wear resistant plates meet the utmost requirements. The unique combination of uniform and high hardness (in qualities of 370 - 640 H.B.), high strength and very good impact strength makes HARDOX an ideal material for many fields of application. HARDOX possesses three to four times the hardness of conventional, high strength constructional steel, but is nevertheless workshop friendly thanks to its outstanding welding and processing properties.

DOMEX and WELDOX

The tempered, high strength constructional sheet steels WELDOX 900, 960, 1100, 1300 and DOMEX XP and MC feature a high degree of purity as well as solid mechanical properties. The tempering takes place at facilities with the most modern process control. With qualities ranging up to yield strength of 1,300 N/mm2, efficient designs featuring maximum strength with marginal material requirement are possible in the realm of mechanical engineering, vehicle manufacturing and steel construction.

ARMOX

The armour protection plates from SSAB are distinguished through their outstanding ballistic qualities; they are utilised worldwide in defence technology as well as in civilian applications. The qualities ARMOX 370T, 440T, 500T, 560T and 600T meet all prevailing country specific standards and protection classes. The solid processing qualities of ARMOX armoured sheet metals enable optimisation of designs with regard to form and weight.

TOOLOX

Toolox 33 and Toolox 44 are pre-hardened plates with ESU properties which are also utilised in mechanical engineering. They are distinguished through a very good machinability, form stability and make supplementary heat treatment and ageing at 33 or 44 HRC superfluous.
